ABOUT THE ROVING ACCOUNTANT

The Roving Accountant was founded in 2011 with the sole purpose to make accounting accessible to clients that did not have the resources to hire full-time accounting staff but had space to work. Traveling to the client's office for a few hours a day, a few hours a week, or once a month as needed. Keeping things entered, reconciled, organized, filed, and paid was done in a very efficient manner. It allowed me to work directly with my clients face to face and be a part of what they were creating. The last year and a half has given me time to review my mission for my business and choose a new direction since “Roving” was not an option. Going remote, bringing on a team to work with me, and adding new services had to happen. I am still the Roving Accountant, but also a remote accountant, and fitting to get the website traccountant.com to cover things either way! I still get to meet with my clients, but now we Zoom to meetings and connect with technology instead of driving!

MEET THE FOUNDER

My mom had her own accounting and tax business when I was a kid. So I learned at an early age that numbers were in my blood! After working for a couple of CPA firms, I found out the hard way that I was not the usual, introverted, shy, quiet, number cruncher! Now I get to enjoy having true, honest connections with my clients. My mission is to be a trusted business resource, not just your bookkeeper. To alleviate the sleepless nights that come when your business is out of balance with your dreams, to guide you along with the Profit First model, to help save you money by doing detailed Tax planning, and obliterate the anxiety of wondering if you are going to make money this month!
